We had our final performance on Aug. 23.

Thank you for coming and your kind support.

The Mahabharata series was a 9 year long journey that began in 2013. The beginnings of the journey were planted in Director Hiroshi Koike’s mind after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. The Complete Mahabharata ~Chapter of Desire, Chapter of Tempest was the culmination of this series. The production was originally planned to be staged in July 2020 however due to the Corona virus pandemic it was postponed to August 20 – 23, 2021.

The Corona virus caused many issues towards realizing the final production. Still, it can only be said that it was a miracle that we were able to accomplish this.
